The commitment to “service” has been a constant thread throughout the history of

IOTA PHI THETA® and will continue to be manifested on both the National and Local levels of the organization.   The process of banding together is a very natural phenomenon whether the purpose is survival, economics, or social intercourse.  There appears to be an even greater and stronger likelihood for individuals of similar interests and benefits to gravitate towards one another.  This is the impetus of most fraternal groups, and so it was with the founding members of Iota Phi Theta.
